This battery charger maintainer lasted all of 8 days Im an electrician by trade and am well versed in areas like this.The owners manual says it has protection internal to the charger. It has a bad design flaw because the protection is an internal 10 amp fuse that is soldered on a printed circuit board.Once ya blow the fuse the charger is history. I guess the old adage ya get what ya pay for applies here. A circuit breaker external on an expensive unit is probably available
